Founded in 2003, CollabraLink has continuously served as a leader in the BPM community. As technology has evolved, BPM has grown from simple process-centric and case management solutions to modern intelligent automation solutions, leveraging Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

CollabraLink’s heritage in BPM originates in early digital transformation initiatives for commercial Fortune 100 companies in the finance and manufacturing communities. These initiatives successfully transformed manual and non-repeatable processes towards standardized, repeatable, human-centric solutions. As a pioneer in the BPM space, CollabraLink continuously evolved as a company, both keeping in sync with modern capabilities and helping shape the BPM community, overall. Through industry involvement, vendor partnerships, industry publications, and collaboration with clients, CollabraLink remains well-tuned with the latest technological capabilities and BPM practices.

As CollabraLink advanced in the BPM community, its CEO, Rahul Pandhi, made a bold move in 2009. CollabraLink uprooted their entire organization from Chicago, IL, and reestablished themselves in McLean, VA, just outside of Washington, DC. According to Pandhi, “It was apparent that the Federal Government required true thought leadership in BPM solutions. Organizations within the Federal Government were dealing with aging technologies, which no longer met technology standards, and worse, no longer met the rapidly evolving business needs of the communities they serve.”

In 2010, the US Army tasked CollabraLink to perform a business process reengineering effort and develop a solution to help our brave Wounded Warriors transition into recovery, with the intention of reintroduction to active duty or to help transition that individual back into civilian life. Legacy solutions lacked digital documentation, standards of care, and case management traceability. In less than 90 days, CollabraLink delivered an agile, scalable public-facing BPM solution, using the Appian Platform, to seamlessly integrate content delivery simultaneously from multiple back-end legacy sources. This solution ensured each of the 44 Warrior Transition Units provided the standards of service our Wounded Warriors deserved.

Today, CollabraLink continues to support our veterans by providing skilled resources and expertise to assist and prepare veterans and service members for transition to the civilian workforce and protect their employment rights.

As a long-time proponent and practitioner of emerging methodologies, CollabraLink is well-positioned to support its clients in building and deploying modern digital services. Their approach to enterprise modernization at scale is philosophically aligned with the Digital Services Playbook promoted by the US Digital Service (USDS). This Playbook is embraced throughout CollabraLink’s BPM portfolio. CollabraLink fosters the development of new capabilities and makes sound recommendations on solutions using capabilities such as Human Center Design (HCD), which is core to their user research/design efforts. CollabraLink employs a highly iterative process that combines HCD with Agile development to deliver accelerated client value.

In 2016, Jai Vijayakumar joined the CollabraLink team as the Director of Intelligent Automation Practice. In this role, he drives CollabraLink's innovation agenda by working with emerging technologies and delivering digital transformations for various federal agencies. Vijayakumar said, "At CollabraLink, I bring my passion for building high performing, cross-functional teams that strive for delivery excellence for our Federal clients." Vijayakumar brings more than 24 years of progressive experience successfully advising and delivering large scale system integration programs for Federal and Commercial clients. At CollabraLink, he successfully spearheaded the dynamic growth of the company’s Low Code Practice and drove the expansion of its footprint within the Federal marketplace. Vijayakumar is a passionate Agilist and has been a strategic advisor and change agent to promote organizational adoption of industry best practices.

Reflecting on that critical pivot from Commercial to Federal in 2009, it is clear that it was the right move for CollabraLink. With nearly 350 dedicated employees today, CollabraLink has grown 35% year-over-year. Their mission to “Create a Modern, Digital Government” has become a reality. Today, CollabraLink continues to deliver solutions that help its Federal clients efficiently achieve critical missions. Leveraging modern technologies, such as Appian, their talented staff strive to use Agile methodologies to make the Government more interactive, productive, and secure.
